Made an immediate impact as a freshman, proving to be one of the Patriot League's top newcomers ... impressive from day one of preseason camp, quickly moving to the top of the depth chart ... has good speed and strength, making him equally adept at both run support and pass coverage ... underwent minor offseason surgery, which limited his activity in spring practice, but he is 100 percent entering the season ... projected starter at the "will" linebacker position ... 2006 (Freshman): Started all 11 games at outside linebacker and finished second on the team with 85 tackles (49 solo) ... had two sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery ... ranked seventh in the Patriot League in tackles, first among freshmen ... earned the Stuart M.
