WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) -- Molly Creamer scored 22 points as Bucknell earned its first NCAA Tournament bid Wednesday night by stunning top-seeded Holy Cross 88-74 in the Patriot League championship game.

Bucknell's victory also snapped the Crusaders' 22-game home winning streak and 61-game home winning streak against league opponents. Holy Cross (23-7) suffered its last conference loss at home against Fordham in 1994.

Bucknell (21-9), which finished second during the regular season, had lost all of its previous 14 games at Holy Cross' Hart Center. The Crusaders had won four consecutive league tournament titles and six of the last seven.

Kate Franks added 19 points and Vicki Quimby 17 for Bucknell. Katie O'Keefe led the Crusaders with 19 points.

Bucknell led 44-35 at the half, but Holy Cross sliced the score to 44-41 early in the second half. Creamer then scored eight points as the Bison took control with a 16-4 run in the next 6:15.

The Crusaders lost for only the fourth time in 28 games against the Bison.

Congratulations Bucknell Bison, 2002 Patriot League Champions!
