The consistency in her play goes unnoticed yet she handles one of the most difficult positions on the field with such confidence and poise that she makes it look easy. Steph is far and away our most talented defender in terms of on-ball tackling skills and off-ball field awareness. And as a testament to her versatility, she is our stopper on attacking penalty corners and post player on defensive corners. Quite honestly, we can ask Steph to assume any role, play any position and she will meet with success."
