Bucknell Women's Track and Field Finishes Second at PL Outdoor Championships
After leading at Day One of the 2008 Patriot League Outdoor Championships, the Bucknell women's track and field team placed second, just two points behind Army, as the league meet concluded on Saturday afternoon in Annapolis. Army compiled 148 points to finish first ahead of second-place Bucknell (146), third-place Lafayette (137), fourth-place Holy Cross (78), fifth-place Navy (70.33), sixth-place Lehigh (68.66), seventh-place Colgate (23) and eighth-place American (11). Senior Amanda Mockbee led the way for the Bison, winning the discus throw with an NCAA East Regional qualifying distance of 157-8. [more] |
