LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's cross country team had 24 members notch Patriot League Academic Honor Roll accolades, the league announced Tuesday. Freshman Colleen Gavigan (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) was one of nine student-athletes on the honor roll to achieve a 4.0 cumulative grade point average. Junior Gillian Nordquist (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) was named the 2007 Patriot League Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in their respective sport.

104 student-athletes were named to the Patriot League Women's Cross Country Honor Roll and Holy Cross led the way with 33 student-athletes on the list. Bucknell was second with 24 honorees, followed by American (14), Colgate and Navy (9 each), Lehigh (7), Lafayette (5) and Army (3).
